LONA DENGLER (2013), Humboldt State senior — Helped lead the Lumberjacks to the eight-school NCAA Division II softball championships last spring as a junior.

JOE DOTSON (2015), Southern Oregon junior — Finished second in the NAIA decathlon championships last spring as a sophomore.

JONATHAN GRIFFES (2015), Corban (Salem) junior — Finished 52nd in 28:47.90 at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, Nov. 4, at La Grande, Oregon; ran a PR 27:43.7 for 8,000 meters to finish 62nd among 123 entries at the George Fox Classic, Oct. 14, at Gervais, Oregon.

BRITTANY LONG (2017), Southwestern Oregon Community College freshman — The 5-foot-8 outside hitter is a member of the Raccoons' women's volleyball team, which wraps up its season Wednesday, Nov. 8, hosting Umpqua CC at 6:30 p.m. in Coos Bay. The Raccoons are 0-13 in the Northwest Athletic Conference, 7-22 overall.

CELIE MANS (2017), Idaho freshman — Finished 58th in the Big Sky Conference championships, Oct. 28, at Ogden, Utah; ran a PR 18:44.5 for 5,000 meters at the Inland Empire Challenge, Oct. 14, at Lewiston, Idaho.

CARISSA OLIVER (2017), Colorado State freshman — Expected to be on track and field team.

JACK PICKELL (2017), Montana State-Billings freshman — Ran a PR 35:59.7 for 10,000 meters to finish 184th at the NCAA West Regional Championships, Nov. 4, at Monmouth, Oregon.

ELYSSA ROSE (2017), Concordia (Ore.) freshman — The 6-foot-1 middle blocker is a member of the Cavaliers' women's volleyball team. Concordia (11-12) has four matches remaining in its season, including two matches this coming week in Alaska.

JAKE THOMPSON (2013), Oregon State red-shirt junior — First-team all-American pitcher this past spring, signed with Boston Red Sox, who took him in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft.

CLAIRE WAGGONER (2017), George Fox freshman — Made the Bruins' official softball roster during tryouts this fall.
