Little Toads take to the mats this week
Siuslaw wrestling coach Neil Wartnik Wrestling season goes to the mats today with the annual week-long Little Toads program for kindergarteners through fifth graders at the Siuslaw High School gym.
Practices are 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, culminating with a tournament at 6 p.m. Friday at the high school's main gym.
Registration forms are available at the elementary school office.
Admission for Friday's tournament is $5 for adults and $3 for children grades K-12.
The event is a fundraiser for wrestling in the Florence area.

The high school wrestling season begins Monday, Nov. 13, with the first day of practice.
