The Siuslaw Vikings girls basketball team opened the 2017 Les Schwab Eagle Booster Classic on Thursday with a 31-19 loss to the Pleasant Hill Billies at Harrisburg.

The Vikings, 0-4, play Harrisburg at Harrisburg at 7:15 p.m. Friday, then complete tournament play Saturday with a game against Colton at 12:30 p.m. at Harrisburg.

Freshman Lindsey Long led the Vikings with 9 points. Sophomore Mia Collins and junior Alyssa Richards each added 4 points and 9 rebounds.

Junior Madison Reynolds also had 9 rebounds for the Vikings, who had 39 rebounds as a team.

Siuslaw begins a five-game homestand Tuesday, hosting Cottage Grove. Tipoff is 7:15 p.m.
