The Siuslaw Vikings boys and girls basketball season may see a tipping point for Coast Radio.

Fans may at last be able to access games online.

"I believe we will experiment with putting games on the internet at some point in the basketball season," station general manager Jon Thompson said Monday.

Veteran sportscasters Bob Sneddon and Randy Paredes will be behind the mikes for all boys and girls Far West League games plus select nonleague games.

Nonleague games include Tuesday's doubleheader against Cottage Grove at Glenn Butler Court. Tipoff for the boys is 5:45 p.m., for the girls 7:15 p.m.

Also scheduled are the Sweet Home doubleheader Dec. 18, the Waldport doubleheader Jan. 2 and the boys game with Junction City on Jan. 9.

Coast Radio airs on KCST (106.9 FM), KCFM (104.1 FM) and 1250 AM.
