The Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball team dropped a 70-56 decision to the Hidden Valley Mustangs in Friday's first day of the Sky-Em/Skyline Crossover at Cottage Grove.

Siuslaw, 5-8 on the season, completes nonleague play Saturday with a game against North Valley at 12:30 p.m. at Cottage Grove.

North Valley, 4-8, played Cottage Grove in a late game Friday.

The Vikings open Sky-Em League play this coming Friday, Jan. 11, hosting the Cottage Grove Lions at 5:45 p.m. at Glenn Butler Court.

Coast Radio will broadcast all Vikings league games.
