The Siuslaw Vikings girls basketball team fell 50-36 to North Valley of Grants Pass on Friday in the first day of the two-day Sky-Em/Skyline Crossover tournament in Klamath Falls.

Siuslaw, 4-9 on the season, completes nonleague play Saturday with a game against Phoenix at 11:30a.m. at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls.

Phoenix, 5-8, beat Elmira in an earlier game Friday, 51-36.

The Lady Vikings open Sky-Em League play this coming Friday, Jan. 11, hosting the Cottage Grove Lions at 7:15 p.m. at Glenn Butler Court.

Coast Radio will broadcast all Vikings league games.
