The Siuslaw Vikings' girls basketball team enters stage two of its season Friday when it hosts Cottage Grove in the Sky-Em League opener for both schools.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. at Glenn Butler Court. Coast Radio will air the game, as it will all league games.

The Lady Vikings wrapped up their nonleague schedule Saturday with a 42-25 loss to Phoenix in a Sky-Em/Skyline Crossover game at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls.

Siuslaw is now 4-10 for the season, while Phoenix is 6-8.

Cottage Grove improved to 7-6 Saturday with a 51-32 victory over Henley. The Lions have a final nonleague game Tuesday at Crook County.
