The Siuslaw boys varsity bowling team joined the girls as OSUSBC High School District 4 champions Sunday by beating North Bend in the championship game at Holiday Bowl.

The Vikings' Clay Kramer was named district most valuable player, while Siuslaw's Faith Coday was runner-up for the girls.

The Lady Vikings clinched their district title on Saturday, also at Holiday Bowl.

Siuslaw's boys squad features Kramer, Hayden Houlihan, Jayden Johnson, Kainunn Harrison, Dalton Stinger, Logan Teel and Clay Kramer.

The Siuslaw girls are Coday, Sequoya Bernard, Trista Torres, Brianna Tabor, Bailey Overton, Destiny Teel and Mengyu Pu.

Both Siuslaw teams have qualified for the state championships, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23-24, at AMF Firebird Lanes in Salem.

The Vikings will be joined at state by qualifiers from five other districts around the state.

Siuslaw's girls were runner-up at state last year.
