Siuslaw freshman wrestler Bailey Overton has been seeded No. 3 at 115 pounds for the OSAA South all-classifications qualifying tournament today and tomorrow at Thurston High School in Springfield.

Teammate Hayden Muller, also a freshman, is seeded No. 6 at 130, while sophomore Adriana Edwards (130) and junior Kinga Bugajska (140) are unseeded.

Two spots are available in each weight class for the first girls all-classifications state championships. Wrestlers in the OSAA North also will compete for two berths in each weight class.

Two seniors are seeded ahead of Overton at 115 — No. 1 Kyleigh Lopez of North Medford and No. 2 Cheyanne Kester of Springfield.

Overton will meet unseeded Bend sophomore Jordan Taylor in today's first round.

Muller opens against unseeded Grant Union senior Sydney Brockway, Edwards against unseeded Mazama sophomore Natanee Campbell and Bugajska against unseeded North Eugene junior Maya Lindskog.

Trackwrestling.com has Overton at 9-6 for the season, Muller at 9-3, Edwards at 3-5 and Bugajska at 4-9.

Both the girls and the boys Oregon School Activities Association state championships are Feb. 22-23 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland.
