Siuslaw senior Riley Jennings is seeded No. 2 at 170 pounds as the 10-man Vikings team prepared for today's opening rounds of the OSAA Special District 2 wrestling tournament in Junction City.

Elmira freshman Nat Brown (35-8) is the No. 1 seed at 170.

Vikings Brady Libby (120), Elijah LaCosse (126) and Matthew Horrillo (220) are No. 3 seeds, while Ryan Jennings (152) and Hector Garcia (160) are No. 4 seeds.

The top four placers in each weight class will qualify for the state championships Feb. 22-23 in Portland.

The four 4A special district qualifying tournaments are Friday and Saturday at Junction City, Tillamook, Mazama and Madras.
