Pleasant Hill produced an avalanche of 16 runs in the top of the fourth inning Tuesday en route to a 25-1, 5-inning victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a nonleague baseball game at Jiggs Dodson Field.

The Billies pounded 15 hits while taking advantage of seven Vikings errors for the rout.

Senior Zach Hart and junior Shane Curry combined for a no-hitter, Hart going the first three innings, striking out seven, while Curry struck out six in two innings of relief.

Vikings starter Gabe Simington went three innings, striking out five and allowing four hits and five runs, none earned.

The Vikings, 1-2, head south for their next three games, a single game Friday at Mazama and a doubleheader Saturday at Klamath Falls.

Siuslaw returns home Tuesday to host Neah-Kah-Nie at 2 p.m. during spring break.
