Pleasant Hill completed a rally from down 5-0 through three innings with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat the visiting Siuslaw Vikings, 8-7, in a nonleague softball game Tuesday.

Siuslaw freshman Bailey Overton was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, RBI and two stolen bases.

Liz Garcia and Lupita Figueroa were each 2-for-4, Garcia with a run scored and an RBI and Figueroa with three RBIs.

"The athletes continue to improve both on offense and defense," Siuslaw coach Sean O'Mara said. "It was great to see Liz Garcia, Lupita Figueroa and Bailey Overton combine for seven hits and five RBIs, along with Hayley Meier's double in the fifth inning."

The Lady Vikings, 0-4, will host Pleasant Hill at 5 p.m. Friday at the Siuslaw Softball Field.

The Lady Vikings then entertain Phoenix at noon Saturday and Douglas at 3 p.m. Tuesday in a pair of doubleheaders.
