The unbeaten Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates visit the win-hungry Siuslaw Vikings in a spring-break baseball game today at Dodson Field.

First pitch is 2 p.m. Coast Radio will broadcast the game, beginning at 1:45 p.m.

The Pirates, 5-0, are No. 8 among 50 schools in the Oregon School Activities Association 2A/1A rankings.

The Vikings, 1-5, have lost their past five games and are ranked No. 28 among the 33 OSAA 4A schools.

Neah-Kah-Nie has scored 76 runs in five games, an average of 15.1 runs a game, while Siuslaw has given up 77 runs in six games, an average of 12.8.

The Pirates already have begun league play, and are 2-0 in 2A/1A Special District 1.

The Vikings complete preleague play Tuesday, hosting Douglas in a doubleheader. First pitch is 3 p.m.

Siuslaw opens Sky-Em League play at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, against Marist Catholic in Eugene.
