Siuslaw graduate Seth Campbell (Class of 2015), a junior a Southern Oregon, ran a collegiate personal-record in the 1,500 meters to finish fourth in this past Saturday's Humboldt Invitational track and field meet at Arcata, Calif.

Campbelll finished in 4 minutes, 5.77 seconds. He also placed fifth in the 800 in 2:01.61a.

Campbell, a two-time Far West League champion in the 800 meters, ran PRs of 4:04.53 and 1:56.36 as a Vikings junior.

As a senior, Campbell anchored a Siuslaw 4x400 team that won the Far West League title. That team included Tyler Williams, Joe Dotson and Billy Jones.

Campbell and Dotson are now teammates on the SOU team. Dotson, a senior, has earned NAIA all-American honors in the decathlon each of his first three seasons.
