Sophomore catcher Sterling Williams clubbed a three-run home run Tuesday to power the Marshfield Pirates to a 15-5 victory over the visiting Siuslaw Vikings in Sky-Em League softball.

Siuslaw, 1-6 In league and 1-12 overall, wraps up the first round of Sky-Em play Friday, hosting Marist Catholic in a doubleheader. First pitch is 3 p.m.

Marshfield is 2-5 and 5-10.

Tuesday, the first three Lady Vikings scored as Siuslaw built early leads, taking a 5-1 advantage into the bottom of the third,

Marshfield closed to 5-3 after three innings and went ahead 8-5 after four, plating five runs, three on Williams' homer.

The Lady Pirates pushed seven runs across in the bottom of the sixth for the win, triggering the 10-run rule.
