Three Siuslaw graduates — Seth Campbell (Class of 2015), Jonathan Griffes (2015) and Celie Mans (2017)— all posted personal bests in track and field during the recent college season.

Campbell, a redshirt sophomore at Southern Oregon, had a personal-record 2:00.22a in the 800 meters at the Hornet Invite in Sacramento on March 16 and a PR 4:05.77a to finish fourth at the Humboldt Invitational at Arcata, Calif., on March 23.

Griffes posted a PR 4:29.46a in the Clackamas Cougar Open on April 20 to cap his senior campaign at Corban University in Salem.

Mans, a sophomore at Idaho, ran a PR 5:09.68a for the 1,500 on March 22 at the Sam Adams Classic in Spokane and a PR 39:25.35a for the 10,000 on March 30 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in Hayward, Calif.

All three runners also are members of their schools' cross country teams.

John Dodson (2014), a senior at Corban, played 29 games for the Warriors' baseball team, starting six, this past season. Dodson hit .219 in 32 at bats. He hit his lone home run in the team's season opener Jan. 25 against William Jessup at Lincoln, Calif.
