Registration is ongoing for Florence Air Academy, flag football and volleyball at the Boys & Girls Club of Western Lane County, 1501 Airport Road.

Deadline is Friday, July 26, for the Air Academy, which has only 20 spots available for ages 12-18. The program is free for teen program members, $100 for nonmembers.

The academy features classroom studies as well and hands-on activities, and includes a tour of the Coast Guard helicopter, flying remote-controlled planes, piloting drones and a 1-on-1 plane ride with an instructor.

Deadline is Monday, Aug. 19, for flag football and volleyball, which is for grades 1-6 and is $65 for club members and $90 for nonmembers. There is no fee for military/first responder families.

Fees include a free jersey.
