A Cool Walk by Two Lakes set for Sept. 3
You are invited to walk the walk Tuesday, Sept. 3, and talk the wonders of Woahink and Cleawox lakes at Honeyman State Park.
Walks of 3 and 6 miles — dubbed A Cool Walk by Two Lakes — are being hosted by the Yachats Coastal Gems Volkssports Club.
The club organizes a series of monthly walks each year along the Oregon coast. The club is affiliated with the American Volkssports Association.
Walkers should gather and register at The Sportsman, 249 Hwy 101, in Florence by 9:45 a.m., when participants leave for the 10 a.m. start.
Ask for the walk box when you register at The Sportsman.
