Marshfield senior setter Taylor Lando had 12 assists and 6 kills Thursday to help power the Lady Pirates to a sweep of the Siuslaw Vikings in Sky-Em League girls volleyball in Coos Bay.

The Lady Pirates won 25-20, 25-21, 25-13 for their first league win of the season.

In other league matches Thursday, Cottage Grove swept Elmira and Junction City swept Marist Catholic and now share first place at 3-0.

Siuslaw (6-5), Marshfield (8-6) and Marist Catholic (1-8) share third place in league at 1-2.

The Lady Vikings host Elmira at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Butler Court. The Lady Falcons are 4-5 and 0-3.

Siuslaw caps the first round of league play next Thursday at Junction City.
