The Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club's monthly meeting moves on to Rosa's Mexican Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Monday, welcoming new and prospective members.

Hoping to encourage more community involvement, especially from parents and coaches, the club is testing alternatives to the traditional monthly meetings at the high school library.

The September meeting was at the 1285 Restobar.

New business includes a proposed water-bottle filler at the track and a gym sign update.

The club also still is looking for a membership chair and a public relations officer.
