Sutherlin bolted to a 30-8 lead after the first quarter and rolled to a 64-29 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a noneague girls basketball game Tuesday at Glenn Butler Court.

Siuslaw, 0-3, plays Harrisburg at Harrisburg on Thursday on the opening night of the Les Schwab Eagle Booster Club Invitational at Harrisburg.

Tipoff is 8:30 p.m.

The Lady Vikings also have games Friday and Saturday in the tournament, opponent, time and site to be determined.

Junior Brea Blankenship led the Lady Vikings with 10 points, while senior Savannah Morris had 9, junior Gracie Freudenthal 6 and senior Kelsey Larson 4.

The Lady Bulldogs led 45-14 at halftime and 61-22 after three quarters before emptying their bench.

Junior Center Amy Dickover led Sutherlin with a game-high 19 points.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season.
