Junior guard Jazmin Lund scored 15 points Friday to lead Douglas to a 51-25 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a nonleague girls basketball game at Glenn Butler Court.

The Lady Vikings, 0-9 for the season, next play East Linn Christian Academy of Lebanon this coming Friday in the opening round of the Bandon Dunes Holiday Invitational.

Tip off is 6 p.m. at Harbor Lights Middle School in Bandon.

Douglas won its third game in a row to improve to 3-5 for the season.

Junior Milaneta Palumalu added 11 points and sophomore Adrianna Sapp 10 for Douglas.

Junior Brea Blankenship had a pair of 3-pointers to share team scoring honors with senior Mia Collins with 8 points each.

Douglas took a 16-8 lead after the first quarter and led by nine at halftime, 21-12. Douglas outscored Siuslaw 9-3 in the third quarter to take a 30-15 lead into the fourth quarter.
