Ready to make a splash in Florence with some help from your friends?

Coastal Fitness has a new event for you.

Registration deadline is Jan. 20 for the first Coastal Fitness Inner Tube Water Polo Tournament, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25.

Entry is free for Coastal Fitness members, while nonmembers can play on a day pass, $12 for adults and $7 for students.

A family swim pass is $17.50 for four members, with $2 for each additional member.

Swimmers need to be age 10 or older. Teams of five to six members will compete in an open schedule.

Practice and free play will be Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. and Fridays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
