You may not be allowed to watch the Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball opener Tuesday at Glenn Butler Court.

But you will be able to follow it on Coast Radio and, likely, online on the NFHS Network.

"We're working on the NFHS feed," athletic director Chris Johnson said. "It should be up and running."

The Vikings are scheduleD to tip off at 6 p.m. against Pleasant Hill. Coast Radio will be air at 5:45 p.m., featuring Max Perry and Ryan Stahel.

The veteran Vikings feature seven seniors and eight juniors on their 15-player roster. Siuslaw lost only one player to graduation from last season.

Four players are still active in Season 3, all qualifying for the 4A state track and field championships Friday and Saturday at Hans Petersen Field.

Those players include seniors Elijah Blankenship and Skyler Loomis and juniors Camp Lacouture and Avery Hart.

The Vikings' boys and girls teams will play doubleheaders the remainder of the regular season, beginning with Wednesday's home games with North Bend.
