The Siuslaw Vikings wrestling team won two of three duals Tuesday in the Siuslaw Home Duals at Glenn Butler Court.

The Vikings were a pesky point from going 3-0, losing to Cascade in the featured dual, 39-38. Cascade won five weight classes by forfeit, while Siuslaw won 7 of the 9 weight classes contested.

Earlier, the Vikings beat Toledo, 31-24, and Siletz Valley-Eddyville Charter, 36-12.

Siuslaw senior Elijah LaCosse was 3-0 on the night with two pins and a technical fall. Sophomore Hunter Petterson was 3-0 a major decision, a decision and a forfeit win.

In a separate girls match with Cascade, Siuslaw's Arrianna Brown (135) and Hayden Muller (145) both won, while Madison Petterson (125) lost to Krystalyn Kamstra.

The Vikings wrestle tonight (Wednesday, May 26) at the Sweet Home Region 2 Duals.
