The Siuslaw Vikings boys track and field team has been named one of the Academic All-Star Top 10 teams for the recent spring season.

The Vikings were No. 9 in Class 4A of the Oregon School Activities Association with a 3.34 grade point average. Valley Catholic was No. 1 at 3.79.

Siuslaw football, soccer and cross country were in the fall season top 10.

The football team was No. 6 in 3A with a 3.23 GPA. Warrenton was No. 1 at 3.6.

The boys soccer team was No. 4 in Class 4A with a 3.43 GPA, trailing only Philomath (3.83), Klamath Union (3.61) and Valley Catholic (3.59).

The Vikings cross country teams were No. 6 in girls 4A and No. 9 in boys 4A.
