Marist scored the first 24 points of the game and rolled to an 51-26 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in Sky-Em League girls basketball Saturday at Glenn Butler Court.

The Lady Vikings fell to 1-4 in league and 1-5 overall. Marist is 4-2 in league and overall.

Siuslaw plays Tuesday at Marshfield and hosts Elmira on Thursday.

Siuslaw closes the season the following week with four games in four nights, starting Tuesday, June 15, at Junction City.

The Lady Vikings then finish with three home games, 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, vs. Junction City in a makeup game; 5:45 p.m. Thursday, June 17, against Cottage Grove in the league finale, and 5:45 p.m. Friday against Class AA unbeaten Bandon.

Senior Gracie Freudenthal led the Lady Vikings with 18 points Saturday. Freshman Jane Lacouture and senior Brea Blankenship had 4 points each.

Sophomore Madison Holmes led Marist with16 points.

Elsewhere in the Sky-Em League on Saturday, Marshfield played at Cottage Grove.
