The Marist Vikings scored the first 11 points of the second half Saturday en route to a 51-36 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in boys basketball at Glenn Butler Court.

The Vikings are now 3-3 in the Sky-Em League, 6-3 overall. Marist is 4-2 and 6-2.

Siuslaw plays at Marshfield on Tuesday. Tipoff is 7:15 p.m.

Junior Brody Terry led the Vikings with 20 points before fouling out with 2:30 to play.

Marist 6-foor-4 senior guard Treysn Harbert had a team-high 16 points.

The Vikings gave the Spartans all they wanted in the first half, forging a 22-22 tie at the break thanks to an 11-0 run, from 16-11 down to a 22-16 lead.

Marist jumped to a 33-22 lead after halftime and led by double digits the remainder of the game.

In other league games Saturday, Junction City won at Elmira, 51-24, and Marshfield won at Cottage Grove, 61-44.
