Siuslaw senior wrestlers Elijah LaCosse, Ryan Jennings and Christian Newlan triumphed Tuesday on Senior Night to help the Vikings defeat visiting Stayton, 34-18, at Glenn Butler Court.

Marshfield and Sutherlin also were scheduled to compete, but results of other Siuslaw duals, if any, were not available.

The Vikings are scheduled for two more regular-season events, Thursday at the Philomath Double Dual and this coming Tuesday at home against North Bend.

Siuslaw won all six weight classes contested against Stayton.

Jennings at 160, sophomore Mason Buss at 170, Newlan at 220 and junior JC Gentry at 285 all won by pins.

LaCosse won 7-3 at 145 and sophomore Yoskar De La Mora won by major decision, 9-0, at 126.

All 18 Stayton points were accumulated by forfeits at 113, 132 and 138.

Siuslaw freshman Dayne Muller won by forfeit at 195.
