The Siuslaw Vikings are the No. 1 seed and the Oregon School Activities Association Class 3A football bracket is set.

The Vikings (8-0) will host Blanchet Catholic (3-5) of Salem on Friday at Hans Petersen Memorial Field, one of eight first-round games.

All eight first-round games are tentatively scheduled for Friday, but any of them could move to Saturday.

Beat the Cavaliers and the Vikings will be looking for a vengeful quarterfinal opponent, also at home.

The opponent? Junction City or Cascade Christian, two teams that will be looking for payback after dropping regular-season games to the Vikings.

Siuslaw mounted an epic comeback to win Friday at Junction City, rallying from a 40-14 second-half deficit for a 41-40 win.

The Vikings defeated Cascade Christian, the defending 3A state champion, in Florence on Oct. 1, 38-34, also rallying in the fourth quarter.
