Four Siuslaw cross country runners have earned first-team all-state honors.

Seniors Rylee Colton and Chad Hughes and juniors Sam Ulrich and Kyle Hughes were honored for their top 10 finishes Saturday at the OSAA Class 4A state championships in Eugene.

Siuslaw's Chris Johnson logged two more coach of the year honors as the Vikings swept the boys and girls team titles.

The four runners also were first-team all-district, as was sophomore Corduroy Holbrook.

Saturday's sweep gave the Vikings four team titles this calendar year, including the two Saturday sanctioned by the OSAA and two last April as part of culminating week for the sport.

Siuslaw's runners are scheduled to compete Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Pacific Northwest Regional Showcase at Arlington, Wash.
