Tickets on sale for Vikings home openers

Tickets for the Siuslaw Vikings boys and girls season openers Wednesday are available online at bit.ly/siuslawtickets.

Siuslaw hosts Bandon at Glenn Butler Court, with the tipoff 5:45 p.m. for the girls game.

Masks will be required. The games will be available on the NFHS Network, but not on Coast Radio.

Bandon promises to be a challenge for both the boys and girls. The Bandon girls were 16-1 last season, 12-0 in league. The Bandon boys were 10-3 and 9-2.

Veteran coach Aaron McNeill has returned to the sidelines to lead the Lady Vikings, who were 2-9 last spring.

Boys coach Dylan Perry is confident the Vikings will compete for a title in the Sky-Em League, which features three top-six teams, including top-ranked Marshfield.
