Siuslaw seniors Braydon Thornton and Camp Lacouture have been named offensive and defensive players of the year in for Class 3A football.

Thornton and Lacouture were joined on the all-state first team by senior teammates Henry Rankin and Avery Hart.

Seniors Rhys Fleming, Isaac Garza and Beau Erickson and junior Ian Sissel also earned all-state recognition.

Thornton was offensive player of the year, Lacouture defensive player of the year for the state-champion Vikings.

Thornton was first team at wide receiver and kick returner and second team at defensive back.

Lacouture was first team at running back and linebacker and third team at placekicker.

Hart was first team on the defensive line and second team on the offensive line.

Rankin was first team on the offensive line.

Fleming was second team on offense at tight end-flex and second team on the defensive line.

Garza was second team defensive back.

Erickson was third team quarterback.

Sissel was third team tight-end flex.
