Siuslaw seniors Bailey Overton and Hayden Muller and sophomore Makayla Freeman took home second-place finishes Saturday at the North Bend Coast Classic wrestling tournament.

The Lady Vikings finished fourth among 25 schools with 83 points. North Medford was first with 127, Del Norte of Crescent City, Calif., second with 117 and North Salem third with 113.

Siuslaw junior Mason Buss won five of six matches to take third place in the boys tournament, his only loss by ultimate tie breaker in the championship semifinals to Ryan Johnston of Grants Pass.

Buss scored 22 of the Vikings' 59 points as Siuslaw placed 18th in a field of 34.

Crook County was first with 254.5 and Roseburg second with 183.5.

The Vikings had two second-place finishers in the junior varsity tournament, Lucian Murphy at 160 and Cort Waggoner at 220.

Siuslaw was 11th of 32 schools with 58 points. Roseburg won with 183.5, Grants Pass second with 142.
