Unbeaten Sutherlin kept the Siuslaw Vikings girls basketball team winless Friday, rolling to a 47-9 victory in the opening round of the Bulldog Invitational at Creswell.

The Lady Vikings (0-8) will play Monroe on Saturday for the consolation title. Creswell beat Monroe, 55-27, in the other opening-round game.

Sutherlin (5-0) is No. 6 in the Oregon School Activities Association 3A rankings and No. 1 in the OSAAtoday 3A coaches' poll.

The Lady Vikings follow the tournament with a home game Tuesday against Pleasant Hill. Tipoff is 5:45 p.m.
