The Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball team demolished the Sutherlin Bulldogs on Friday, 61-27, in the first round of the Bulldog Invitational at Creswell.

The Vikings (4-1) will play 3A Creswell (6-0) for the tournament title at 7 p.m. Saturday. Creswell beat 2A Monroe in the first-round game, 77-42.

Creswell is ranked No. 5 in the most-recent OSAAtoday 3A coaches' poll.

Sutherlin (1-4) has a rematch with the Vikings on Jan. 4 in Sutherlin. Tipoff is 7 p.m.

The Vikings host Pleasant Hill on Tuesday. Tipoff is 7:15 p.m.
