Siuslaw senior Hayden Muller advanced to the semifinals at 135 pounds Thursday at the OSAA Girls Wrestling State Championships in Culver.
Muller, seeded No. 3, had a first-round bye, then pinned Willamina/Falls City senior Esmeralda Tapla-Bravo in 1 minute, 12 seconds in the quarterfinal round.
Muller (15-3) is scheduled to face La Pine junior Kira Kerr (29-2), the No. 2 seed, in the semifinals.
Lady Vikings freshman Macali Lade finished 1-2 in the 110 bracket, pinning Grant Union freshman Zoey Beam in 3:53 in her first-round match.
Lade lost by fall to No. 3 seed Ashley Willis, a St. Helens senior, in 1:51 in the quarterfinals. Lade was eliminated in consolation, dropping a 5-2 decision to Riverside senior Valeria Echevarria.
Lade finished her season 12-9.
