Siuslaw junior Mason Buss placed second and sophomore Dayne Muller was fourth Saturday in the Oregon School Activities Association Class 4A Boys Wrestling Championships at Cascade High School in Turner.

Siuslaw tied for 12th with Marshfield in the team standings with 47 points. 

La Grande was first with 275.5, Sweet Home second with 250.5 and Tillamook third with 187.

Buss won three decisions in a row to reach the finals at 160, where he lost by decision to Carson Henderson of Junction City, 9-2.

Muller, 3-2 on the day, lost in the third-place match by fall to Gauge Bloomer of Baker/Powder Valley in 1 minute, 3 seconds.

Vikings freshman Joel Sissel placed sixth, going 3-3 on the day and losing to Connor Hollenbeck of Stayton by fall in the fifth-place match in 1:39.

Junior Yoskar De La Mora was 1-2 and had 2 team points at 126 and sophomore Cort Waggoner was 1-2 and scored 3 team points at 220.
