The newly resurrected Siuslaw Vikings golf team tees off at 10 a.m. Thursday with a three-way boys match at the Florence Golf Links.

A dozen boys and six girls have signed up for the 2022 season, coached by Chuck Johnson, a physical education and health teacher at the high school.

Thursday's meet includes North Eugene, Siuslaw and host Thurston.

The boys also are scheduled for a match with Marshfield and Roseburg at the Florence Golf Links on April 13.

The only event posted for the girls is the 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 4 Championships, May 9-10, and the Bandon Crossings Golf Course.
