Volunteers needed for Honeyman cleanup

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department release

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park rangers need 20 volunteers April 22, 10 a.m.-noon, to help remove invasive plants. Volunteers will work alongside park staff and help clear ivy, blackberry, and scotch broom from trail areas. The work supports a park environment that's rich in biodiversity and encourages native plants and wildlife to thrive.

Participants must register in advance and registration ends April 10. Volunteers will work with hand tools and travel on gravel and uneven surfaces. Tools and other equipment will be provided.
