How would you like to do something to support Siuslaw Vikings athletics and be paid to do it?

The regenerated Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club needs an auction chair, and probably the sooner the better.

"The auction chair is a paying position," Siuslaw athletic director Chris Johnson noted in an email announcement to Florence media.

"The base rate is $3,000, but the club might be willing to increase the rate based on the scope of the auction."

The club is hoping to hold both a Booster Club Auction along with a Hall of Fame Induction and dinner sometime in September.

The two events, traditionally on back-to-back nights, have not been held since 2019.

The club also is in need of a president and a membership chair, Johnson noted.

Currently, Dylan Perry is serving as vice-president, Deanna Frazier as treasurer and Valerie Graybill as secretary.
