Siuslaw seniors Rylee Colton and Chad Hughes set personal records Friday while competing in the girls and boys 3,000 meters at the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field in Eugene.

Colton finished in 10 minutes, 53.26 seconds (unofficially seventh of 26) and Hughes in 9:06.16 (unofficially 20th of 46).

Colton is 10th on the all-time list for the Vikings girls at the distance, while Hughes is 14th for the boys.

Earlier, Siuslaw's Maya Wells and Macy McNeill placed 24th and 27th, respectively, in the freshman girls 3,000, Wells in 11:54.81 and McNeill in 12:14.80.

Saturday, Vikings senior Camp Lacouture and junior Kyle Hughes are entered in the pole vault and junior Sam Ulrich in the 800.
