Marshfield starter Drake Rogers tossed a 1-hit shutout over four innings Tuesday to hurl the Pirates to an 11-4 Sky-Em League baseball victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in Coos Bay.

Siuslaw, 6-10 overall and 1-5 in league, hosts Marist in a doubleheader Friday. First pitch is 3 p.m.

Junior Ian Sissel clubbed a three-run home run in the top of the fifth and Victor Ayala scored on an error in the sixth for the Vikings runs.

Dom Montiel had a triple and three RBIs for the Pirates (9-7, 5-2). Montiel pitched the seventh for the Pirates, striking out the side.
