Siuslaw junior Jonathan Rose won the shot put, the discus and the javelin Tuesday to lead the Siuslaw Vikings boys to first place in the Sky-Em League varsity meet in Coos Bay.

The Siuslaw boys had 112 points to 109 by Marshfield. Elmira had 81, Cottage Grove 38 and Junction City 13.

The Marshfield girls had 130 points, Elmira 94, Siuslaw 51, Cottage Grove 39 and Junction City 24.

Jonathan Rose won the shot put at 41 feet, .75 inches, the discus with a personal record 140-9 and the javelin with a PR 149-3.

The Vikings' Hunter Petterson won the 100, Sam Ulrich the 800 and Talan Ross the 1,500.

For the girls, Rylee Colton won the 800 and Corduroy Holbrook the 1,500.
