Siuslaw Vikings senior shortstop Bailey Overton has been named to the Sky-Em League softball all-stars first team.

Lady Vikings junior outfielder Ashlee Hennessee and freshmen utility Jolee Erickson Abby Riggs were honorable mention.

Marist junior outfielder Paige Doerr was player of the year, Marist senior Malia Williams pitcher of the year and Marist's Stefan Schroffner coach of the year.

Siuslaw was 0-15 in league and 0-20 overall in William Lipe's first year as head coach.

The Vikings currently are advertising for a new head coach. Application deadline is 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 1.
