Sophomore middle blocker Rhianna Lane had 11 kills and 6 blocks and senior middle blocker Desi Tupua had 10 kills and 3 blocks Friday as the Siuslaw Vikings volleyball team opened its season winning three of four matches in the Marshfield Jamboree in Coos Bay.

Junior right side Ashley Hennessee added 4 kills and 3 blocks and senior outside hitter Hailee Outlaw 5 kills, while junior libero Meika Shappell had a six-point service run in one of the games.

Siuslaw beat Brookings-Harbor, Coquille and North Bend, the one loss to host Marshfield.

Saturday, the Lady Vikings play two matches in Coquille, facing Bandon at 12:45 p.m. and Coquille at 2:30 p.m.
